Paper Moon Consulting gives small business owners and entrepreneurs an extra set of hands and a clear head when there's too much on your plate. Sometimes that means jumping in to manage a project from start to finish. Sometimes it means helping you build a simple process so the same headache doesn't keep happening. And sometimes it just means handling the logistics so you can focus on the parts of your business only you can do.
No project is too small. If it's eating up your time or stressing you out, that's exactly the kind of thing I'm here for. What that support looks like is different for every client, and that's kind of the point.

How I Work
Every business runs differently, so I start by listening and learning how yours operates. From there, I fit in around what you need — whether that's a one-time project, a few hours of support each month, or something more ongoing. My goal is to make things easier, and that means staying flexible as your business evolves.
About Me
Hi, I'm Katie — founder of Paper Moon Consulting, based in Roanoke, VA.
My background spans hospitality management, agency operations, and a stint teaching life skills — but the thread running through all of it is the same: I love taking something chaotic and turning it into something that makes sense. There's nothing better than that moment when a client looks at a new system and says, "oh, that's how this is supposed to work."
Outside of work, I'm a homebody at heart. Most evenings you'll find me cooking something, curled up with a mystery novel (Agatha Christie has had my attention lately), or talking my husband Riley into a movie night, even though he's the real film buff in the house. My home is loud with color because honestly, so am I; neutrals have never really been my thing.
I started Paper Moon Consulting because I believe every business — no matter how small or scrappy — deserves systems that work for them, not against them. If that sounds like something you need, let's talk.
